24.01.2022 Let’s talk peels..!! There is a lot of misconceptions about peels so let’s debunk some! - A chemical peel is chemical exfoliation for the skin. It helps improve these skin issues like Acne ... Acne scarring Dark spots Sun damage Wrinkles There are lots of myths surrounding chemical peels so let’s get a better understanding..!! 1 Chemical peels will burn my skin off...No they won’t! Peels are a corrective treatment,so there is some sensation & tingling felt during this process. Of course there is post peel effects like redness, sensitivity & a little flaking but all completely normal. Some people don’t even experience side effects. 2 One chemical peel is enough...would love to say this true but unfortunately it is not. Just like one gym workout won’t make you super ripped - just like one chemical peel won’t fix all your skin concerns. - Chemical peels aren’t a once off they require a commitment & patience.
